BEMIDJI, Minn. - Minot State University junior Cody Duchscherer shot a 1-over-par 73 Sunday and is tied for fourth place after the first round of the Bemidji State Invitational at Bemidji Town and Country Club.
Winona State University (Minn.) leads the 12-team event after carding a 6-over-par 294, four strokes ahead of second-place MSU. The University of Manitoba is in third place with a 299.
Winona's Alex Zeyen leads the individual field after a 2-under 70. In addition to Duchscherer, MSU seniors Blair Anderson (74) and Michael DeLorme (75) are in the top 10 heading into today's final round.
