SHAKOPEE, Minn. - Betty Young, 85, Shakopee, formerly of the Glenburn area, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, in her home.
She was born March 28, 1927, to Charles and Emma Woods, in Eckman. She enlisted in the Navy WAVES in 1943 and served for two years. She married Robert Young in 1945.
Survivors: sons, Paul, Jim and Joe, all of the Minneapolis area; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Elvie Peterson, Minneapolis, and Billie German, Minot.
