Holden Ybarra, 19, of Belcourt, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at his mother's home in Minot.

Holden William Ybarra was born June 22, 1993, in Rolla, to Corrina LaVallie. He attended school in Belcourt and Glenburn and completed his education at Dakota Memorial in Minot.

Holden loved to hang out with his many friends and with his family. He dearly loved his girlfriend, Faith. Holden was the kind of person who could joke around with everyone and would often pester his mother until she got mad and then they would laugh. He was always with his brothers, Tylor and Steven, and his sisters. Holden was an outgoing young man and was often found near his mother.

He enjoyed playing cards, playing basketball, and working side-by-side with his stepfather, C.J.

Holden was an all-around kid who had a generous heart which he did many things with. He will be greatly missed by many.

Holden is survived by: his mother and stepfather, Corrina (C.J. Andrist) LaVallie, of Minot; special friend, Faith Struksnes, of Minot, and new arrival due in October, daughter, Ayvah Ybarra, of Minot; sisters, Sheena LaVallie and Sasha LaVallie, both of Minot, Caroline Ybarra and Nicole More, both of Minneapolis, Minn., and Emily Andrist, of Minot; brothers, Tylor LaVallie and Steven Andrist, both of Minot, Ethan Ybarra and Phillip Ybarra, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; grandmothers, Shirley Morin, of Belcourt, and Marie Ybarra, of Minneapolis; nieces, Ilijah LaVallie and Mariah Pitts; nephew, Jade LaVallie; and many friends.

Holden was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald "Billy" LaVallie, grandmother, Johanne Andrist, great-grandparents, Louis and Hellen LaVallie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Casket Bearers are Dustin Downs, Tyler Brunelle, Richard LaVallie Jr., Kansas Ree, Donald Allery, and Darron Brown.

Honorary Bearers are all family and friends.

Music by the LaVallie Family and C.J. Andrist.

Visitation: Will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at the Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt.

Funeral services: Will be Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Turtle Mountain Worship Center, Belcourt, with Maynard LaVallie officiating.

Burial: Will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt.
