DUNSEITH Phyllis Thiefoe, 52, of Dunseith, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, in a Dunseith nursing home.
She was born Dec. 4, 1959, to Wallace and Mary Jane Thiefoe, in Belcourt. She married Peter LaVallie in 1983, in Dunseith. This marriage later ended.
Survivors: companion, Peter LaVallie, Dunseith; daughters, Mary Jane Nadeau, Joni LaVallie, both Dunseith; son, Peter LaVallie Jr., Dunseith; five grandchildren; sisters, Janice Thiefoe and Cathy Thiefoe, both Dunseith; brothers, Bobbie Thiefoe, Gary Thiefoe and Kevin Beston, all Dunseith; half brothers, Francis Belgarde and Duane Belgarde, both Dunseith; half sisters, Geraldine Monoz, Karen Davis, Natalie Grant, Betty Carbonneau, Sandra Belgarde and Gail Krause, all Dunseith.
Funeral: Wednesday, 10 a.m., Peace Lutheran Church, Dunseith.
Burial: St. Sylvan's Cemetery, rural Dunseith.
Wake: Tuesday, 4 p.m., in the church.
