FARGO (AP) - A North Dakota man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for possessing and receiving child pornography.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says 28-year-old Jay Daniel Hoover of Cando was sentenced Wednesday on one charge of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors and one charge of receiving materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
Hoover also was sentenced to 10 years of supervised release.
Prosecutors say authorities found more than 850 video files and 350 images of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct on his computer.
