NEW TOWN Judy Young Bear (Owl Woman-"Eda-gu-ba-mea"), 70, New Town, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in a Minot nursing home.
She was born Feb. 10, 1942, to Inez Young Bear and George Howard, in Elbowoods. She married Leroy White Singer in Lawrence, Kan. The marriage ended in divorce.
Survivors: daughter, Natalie White Singer, New Town; four grandchildren.
Funeral: Today, 10 a.m., Johnny Bird Veterans Memorial Hall, New Town.
Burial: Snowbird Cemetery, rural New Town.
