CARRINGTON Katharine Grosser, 95, Carrington, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, in a Carrington nursing home.
She was born Oct. 19, 1916, to Frank and Magdalena Lech, near Gladstone. She married John Grosser on June 7, 1954.
Survivors: daughters, Dolores Loffelmacher, of McHenry, Patricia Grosser, New Rockford, Annette Carlson, Dickinson; son, Timothy, Junction City, Kan.; stepdaughter, Lenora Lee, Poway, Calif.; stepson, John Grosser, Paonia, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe and Steve; sisters, Theresa, Lena, Margaret, Helen, Marie and Regina.
Funeral: Thursday, 10 a.m., Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Carrington.
Burial: Carrington Cemetery, Carrington.
Prayer service: Wednesday, 7 p.m., Evans Funeral Home, Carrington.
Visitation: Wednesday, 1 to 7 p.m., in the funeral home.
