ST. JOHN Mildred Prouty, 90, Dunseith, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in a Rolla hospital.
She was born Oct. 30, 1921, to John and Annie Boppre, in St. John. She married Everett Overby on Sept. 30, 1940, in St. John. He died on Jan. 5, 1963. She married Everett Prouty on Nov. 17, 1964, in Williston.
Survivors: daughters, Carol Davis, Souris, Kay Leonard and Kathie Prouty, both St. John, Gail Belisle, Maxbass, Deb Baker, Minot; sons, Jerry Overby, Dunseith, Ed Overby, Rolla, John Overby, of Mylo, Duane Overby, Williston; 46 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Roy, Portland, Ore.
Funeral: Wednesday, 11 a.m., St. John Community Center, St. John.
Visitation: Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, in the community center.
Cremation will take place after the service.
