TRUMPET CONCERT PLANNED IN MINOT CHURCH Joel Finnesgard, Sioux Falls, S.D., formerly of the Crosby area, will present a trumpet concert Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bethel Free Lutheran Church, 530-22nd Ave. NW.
The concert will include a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship music.
HEAVENLY HARP DUO TO PERFORM CONCERT IN BURLINGTON CHURCH Heavenly Harp will perform in concert Monday at 7 p.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington. The mother-daughter duo, Karin and Joy Gunderson, are professional musicians from Phoenix.
The concert is free, but a freewill offering will be received.
AMERICAN ART HISTORIAN TO GIVE PRESENTATION IN DICKINSON Elizabeth Lev, an American art historian living in Rome, will give a presentation "Will the Real Michelangelo Please Stand Up?" on Sept. 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. MDT in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dickinson.
The presentation will include discussions on the Pieta, the Doni Tondo, the Sistine Chapel and how Michelangelo lived out his lay vocation through art.

Lev currently teaches art history through programs with Duquesne University and the University of St. Thomas. She also served as art history advisor on the films "The DaVinci Code" and "Angels and Demons."
The event, which is sponsored by the Diocese of Bismarck Office of Adult Faith Formation and Family Ministries, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
