HARVEY Julian Olson, 79, rural Harvey, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, in his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1932, to Helmer and Matilda Olson, near Wellsburg. He married Jane Georgeson on Sept. 4, 1955, in Esmond. He entered the Army in 1956 and served at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. He was discharged from the Army on May 1, 1958. He was then a member of the Army Corps Reserve until 1962.
Survivors: wife; son, Joel, of Sidney Mont.; daughters, Jean Hauser, of Martin, Joan Alfstad, of Sheyenne; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Noran, Minot; sisters, Mavis Ambers, Minot, Jeanette Knote, Billings, Mont., Marlys Chrissis, Dilworth, Minn.

Funeral: Monday, 10:30 a.m., Trinity Bethany Lutheran Church, Harvey.
Burial: Will be at a later date.
Visitation: Monday, one hour prior to the service, in the church.
