The subject of gun control is one that really gets me going. I am not writing this letter to argue gun control because that does no good. My reason for writing this letter is as soon as one of these cowards start shooting the left wing media starts jumping all over gun control laws and pushing for change to the second amendment. Why is nothing ever said about capital punishment laws, the death penalty that has been raped by liberal politicians,judges and lawyers?
My solution to deal with this coward in Colorado is to give him a jury trial in 30 days which their is no doubt he would be found guilty. Once guilt is proven have a hanging on the courthouse lawn that way any individual thinking about doing this kind of evil act will think twice and a lot of this will stop. This coward is going to get off on insanity plea and have life in prison. As for your comment on the AR-15, it's one of the finest weapons ever made. I own one and many other weapons that if the need arises, I will use to defend my family and property. A good example is right here in Velva where the Velva park board is running a man camp next to my property and the city pool. Yes, I call it a man camp because the row of campers next to the pool showed up March 30 and have not left. It doesn't look like a campground to me. Last summer the park manager put tents stacked on the property line adjacent to mine. The individuals living in these tents were from Alabama. My issue with two of these individuals is that they had no teeth. What's the first clue of meth user? So I see the characters camping in the Velva park and make sure that my firearms are readily available and thank the fathers of this great country that they gave me that right. Quote from George Washington: "Firearms are second only to the constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth."
