Minot recreation volleyball league sign-ups beginning
Sign-ups for men's, women's and coed adult volleyball leagues are now available through the Minot Recreation Commission.
The leagues begin in September and all games will be played on weekday evenings.
The entry fee is $90 per team, with an additional $25 user fee per player. The deadline to sign up is Monday.

Minot High in sixth at East-West Classic
JAMESTOWN - The Minot High girls' golf team shot a collective 399 Monday and is positioned in sixth place after the first day of the East-West Classic at the Jamestown Country Club.
Haili Duchscherer shot a 99, the lowest Majettes' score. Fargo Davies' Allyson Meyer and Fargo South's Cassidy St. Germain shot a 79 to pace the field. Williston High School's Kayla Barke is tied for eighth after shooting an 84.
Fargo Davies leads the tournament with a score of 325, 22 strokes ahead of second-place Fargo North.
The tournament will conclude today.
