RUMMAGE, BAKE SALE TO BE HELD TUESDAY Vincent United Methodist Women will hold a rummage sale on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A bake sale will be held in conjunction with the rummage sale.
Oriental Chicken Salad and sandwiches will be served from 11 a.m. until gone and homemade sweet treats will be available all day. Bag bargains will be available from 1 to 2 p.m.
The rummage/bake sale will be in the church at 1024-2nd St. SE. Customers are asked to use the south entrance to the church.
CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S CLUB TO MEET TUESDAY Minot Christian Women's Club will meet Tuesday from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Grand International Inn, Minot. The theme of the meeting will be "Follow the SON for FUN."
The cost is $10, inclusive.
A representative from Main Street Books will share the rewards of being in a book club, suggestions of books that provide good discussions and encouragement to start one of your own. Paula Pelland, of Amaranth, Manitoba, will be the guest speaker and music will be provided by "Aymon."

SOUTHSIDE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE TO HOST PERFORMANCE BY CHRISTIAN COMEDIAN Greg Strange, a Christian comedian, will be at Southside Church of the Nazarene, 2220-24th Ave. SE, Sunday at 11 a.m.
His performance will include a time of praise and worship, funny songs, stories and a message from God's Word.

AWANA PROGRAM TO BEGIN SEPT. 5 AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH First Baptist Church, of Minot, will kick off its Awana Clubs program Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Awana, a Bible-centered program where youth can learn about God and his Word, will meet each Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the church at 200-3rd St. SW. It is an opportunity for youth to meet friends and to participate in games.
