Jennifer Gates, 41, formerly of Williston, died July 22, 2012, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.
She was born July 29, 1970, to Theodore and Esther Gates at Williston. She was raised and educated there through the third grade and then moved with her family to Glenwood Springs, Colo., where she graduated from high school. She also graduated from the Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa where she had been living the past four years, and had been very active in the street ministry at Victory Christian Center.
Survivors: Mother and stepfather, Esther and Kazik Kozak, Tucson, Ariz.; siblings, Jane (Kent) Olson, Minot, Brad (Louayne) Gates, Newcastle, Colo., Rebecca Gates, of Spokane, Wash.; several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore; brother, Grant; grandparents, Oscar and Thelma Gates, Olga and Rennick Adams, and Robert C. Helliwell.
A memorial service was held at Victory Christian Center Chapel in Tulsa.
