LaMOURE - Washburn (31-5) beat Section 7 runner-up Lisbon 6-2 on Friday to stay alive in the American Legion Class B state tournament.
Washburn didn't score until the fifth inning, but pitcher Evan Eberle matched Lisbon's Tyler Mittleider frame for frame until the top of the fifth, when Washburn scored twice.
Washburn scored four times an inning later. First baseman Mike Hausauer went 2-for-4 and hit a double.

Rest of action rained out
The remaining games two scheduled for Friday were moved to today because of rain. Velva's game with host LaMoure will begin at noon. Thirty minutes after its conclusion, Wahpeton will play Grafton.
The loser of the second game will meet Washburn 30 minutes after game two's conclusion. The last game of the day comes 30 minutes after that and will pit the winner of the Velva-LaMoure game against the winner of the Wahpeton-Grafton contest.
