Dale M. Kilbourn, age 80, passed away at his brother Lyle's home on July 28, 2012. Lyle, his great-nephew Chad, (girlfriend) Marina were by his side until the end. He fought a courageous battle with cancer and never complained.
Dale was born March 2, 1932, to Floyd and Carrie (Soderberg) Kilbourn, on their farm south of Berthold. He was a farmer most of his life. He lived a simple life and didn't expect anything of anyone. When he was younger he enjoyed going to Minot to play pool. He loved going to auctions and always found something to take home.
He is survived by: his brother, Lyle; nieces and nephews and their families, Laurie (Peter) LeCapitaine, Ed (Retta), Denise (Jeff) Nabozny, Steve (Lorie), Duane (Julie), his best friend Wesley Mills, and of course his great-nephew, Chad, Marina and her children Jonathan, Annika, and Bryce. They took care of Dale and loved him very much. He always laughed and was happy when they were with him. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Sylvia; and many relatives.

The family will celebrate Dale's life at a later date. We will miss you dearly, Dale, you are now reunited with your parents. We love you and we will all be together again someday.
