Charlotte Bennett and Andrew Burckhard, both of Henderson, Nev., announce their engagement. Their parents are Bruce and Mary Bennett, Glenview, Ill., and Sheila and Dennis Burckhard, Minot.
She graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, in 2004 with a bachelor of science in aeronautics degree, where she majored in commercial aviation and flight education. She is employed as a pilot for Allegiant Air, Las Vegas.
He graduated from UND in 2004 with a bachelor of business administration degree, where he majored in management. He is employed as a pilot for Pinnacle Airlines, Memphis, Tenn.
They plan a July 6, 2013, wedding in Chicago.
