ence Crisis Center Board of Directors and staff are extremely grateful for the recently received grant of $400,000, gifted to us by the Otto Bremer Foundation. This exceptionally generous donation assures that we can begin the implementation of the first phase of our rebuilding plan the replacement of one of two flood-destroyed four-plex apartment buildings (once used to provide transitional living quarters to those who suffer from domestic violence) and the construction of a new office building adjacent to the new fourplex.
With this grant we can confidently move forward in reaching our ultimate goals, which are to replace our dilapidated, inadequate emergency safe-home and to add transitional living apartments to meet the needs of the growing population of the multi-county area that we serve.
We also thank Brent Mattson and Jerry Stai of the Minot Bremer Banks, who were instrumental in obtaining this grant, for giving the Domestic Violence program and our clients this greatly needed boost.
