The world is telling us Assad's henchmen have killed 13,000 of his own. The killing continues. In the meantime the United Nations does absolutely nothing while this madman continues to kill. The United States sends millions of taxpayers' money to fund the United Nations. And what do we receive in return?
The question is: Is it time to pull out of this corrupt, ineffective organization? Can anyone even come up with two things the U.N. has accomplished that the U.S. could not do all by itself? Here is one place we are putting out money and getting zero in return. Kenny Rogers sang, "You got to know when to fold 'em. When to walk away and when to run!" It is time to put our tennis shoes on and run away as fast as possible.
