DATES SET FOR VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AT MINOT CHURCH Southside Church of the Nazarene, 2220-24th Ave. SE, will host a vacation Bible school Monday through Friday for children ages 3 through the sixth grade. A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the sessions will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The Babylon-themed evenings will include stories, games, crafts and music.

SPAGHETTI DINNER PROCEEDS TO HELP MINOT WOMAN WITH MEDICAL EXPENSES ?A spaghetti dinner benefit will be served Aug. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus Clubrooms, 2601 N. Broadway, for Loraine Zarr, of Minot.
Zarr has been battling breast, thyroid and now brain cancer within the past year. She has been having chemotherapy every two weeks.
Proceeds of the freewill offering and silent auction during the event will be used for medical expenses.
