MADDOCK - Glenn Hanson, 75, Devils Lake, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, in a Fargo hospital.
He was born May 14, 1937, to Gunder and Helga Hanson, in Maddock. He served three years in the Marines. He married Joyce Vang on Dec. 13, 1958, in Devils Lake.
Survivors: wife; sons, Layle, Starkweather, Brian, Fargo, John, Jack and Jeremy, all Devils Lake; daughters, Shelly Weed, Minnewaukan, Connie Ebach, Beaumont, Texas, Charlene Wallace and Cheri Hanson, both Fargo; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Orpha Howard, of Sheyenne; half sister, Marie Chapman, of Washington state.

Burial: Stony Lake Lutheran Cemetery, rural Minnewaukan.
Visitation: Monday, one hour prior to the service, in the church.
