TURTLE LAKE - Laura Schlafman, 88, Turtle Lake, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, in a Bismarck hospital.
She was born Sept. 24, 1923, to John and Francis Reiser, in Turtle Lake. She married John Schlafman on July 28, 1945, in Mercer.
Survivors: son, Melvin, Beulah; daughters, Elaine Wahl and Linda Harr, both of Turtle Lake; eight grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; 11 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; brother, Earl, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Funeral: Monday, 2 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake.
Burial: Turtle Lake Cemetery.
Visitation: Sunday, 5 to 7 p.m., Goetz Funeral Home, Turtle Lake, with a family service Sunday, 7:30 p.m., in the funeral home.
