Ragnhild Sondrol, age 104, of Turtle Lake, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Turtle Lake.
Ragnhild was born June 21, 1908, on the 1906 homestead of Sigurd and Amalie (Nelson) Glad 10 miles northeast of Turtle Lake in Medicine Hill Township. She married Melvin Sondrol on Feb. 26, 1932.
She is survived by her son, Donald Sondrol of Turtle Lake; four grandchildren, Robert Sondrol, Linda (Rodney) Schlafmann, Kevin (Lana) Sondrol, all of Turtle Lake, and Patrice (Michael) Leddy of Albuquerque, N.M.; nine great-grandchildren, Barry, Nolan and Cole Schlafmann, Isaac, Mariah and Melaree Sondrol, Alisa, Stephen and Kaitlin Leddy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; daughter-in-law, Norma Sondrol; brothers, Jens and Arne; and sister, Dagny Fibelstead.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake with Pastor Betty J. Stedman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Turtle Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home in Turtle Lake.
