Ronald Feist, 54, Minot, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Ronald Eugene Feist was born March 23, 1958, the son of Anthony "Tony" and Dolores (Goebel) Feist, in Minot. He was raised and educated in Drake until 1972 when he and his family moved to Minot, where he attended Minot High School. He later obtained his G.E.D.
Ronnie was once married to Sue Petz. From this union, a son, Aaron, was born. Ronnie had worked at Cal Dak Cabinets Shop for a time until ill health forced him to retire in 2000. He enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed keeping his fish aquariums stocked with a wide variety of fish. He was a kid at heart and loved playing with his remote control cars. He especially enjoyed his furry companion of 12 years, Stella the Chihuahua, whom he went everywhere and did everything with.
He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot.
His loving family includes: son, Aaron, Burlington; step-daughter, Rhea Feist, Burlington; mother and father, Dolores and Tony Feist, Minot; brothers, Bruce (Randi) Feist, Minot, Greg Feist, Ohio, and Gerard Feist, Fargo; sisters, Gayle (Steve) East, Washington, Claudia Brendle, Minot, and Mary (Ken) West, Minot; best friend, Brad, Minot; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Catherine Feist; maternal grandparents, Fred and Sophia Goebel; great-nephew, Anthony Forsman; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Funeral: Monday, July 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, at a later date.
Visitation: There will be no reviewal, but friends may sign the register book on Monday one hour prior to the service at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials: are preferred to the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
