Delores Ione Storbeck, 72, Minot, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in a Minot nursing home.

Delores was born May 17, 1940, in Moffitt, to Lester and Belva (Beattuy) Andrews. She was reared and educated in Hazelton, and graduated from Hazelton High School in 1958. As a young adult, she was employed as a nanny for families in the Hazelton area. She moved to Minot and was employed at Trinity Hospital as a nurse's assistant for 11 years.

Delores married Elmer Storbeck on Nov. 16, 1974, in Moffitt. They made their home in Minot, where she was a full-time homemaker, wife, mother of two girls and grandmother.

Delores was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Minot, and especially enjoyed reading.

Delores is survived by: her loving husband of 37 years, Elmer; daughters, Tina (Brandon) Shelkey, of Bismarck, and Teresa (Daniel) Helton, of Minot; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Jamie, Elizabeth and Nicholas Helton; Chelsea Storbeck, McKenna and Bryce Shelkey; sisters-in-law, Connie, Yvonne and Laura Andrews, Dorothy Collins, Marjorie Walker and Virginia Erickson; brothers-in-law, Harold and Carl Storbeck; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Jim, Harlan and Clarence.

Funeral service: Friday, July 20, 2012, at 11 a.m., in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Minot.

Interment: Will be in Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

Visitation: Today, July 19, from 2 to 7 p.m., in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
