Jennifer Kay Bierschbach, 42, of Eveleth, Minn., formerly of Minot, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at the Virginia Regional Medical Center, Virginia, Minn.
She was born May 15, 1970, in Minneapolis. She moved with her family to Dickinson, where she attended grade school through 11th grade. She graduated from Minot High School in 1989. Jennifer was married to Michael J. Bierschbach on June 29, 1991, in Minot at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
She was a loving wife and mother. Jennifer loved crafting, music (she had a beautiful soprano voice), playing cards and board games. She was a female John Candy; always joking and laughing. She also wrote poetry. Jennifer's biggest joy was her family and she loved family gatherings.
She is survived by her husband, Michael, and their three daughters, Jessica, Katie and Haley, of Eveleth; parents, William and Carlotta Burcham, of Minot; brothers, Shannon Burcham, of McIntosh, Minn., Mike McGrath, of Gibson City, Ill., Jesse (Larissa) McGrath, of Kenmare, and Nathan (Amanda) Burcham, of Minot; sister, Amber (Randy) Ballard, of Minot; mother- and father-in-law, Marcia and Jim Bierschbach, of Minot; brother-in-law, Greg (Julie) Bierschbach, of Minot; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Bruce) Taylor, of New Milford, Conn., and Jennie (Phil) Kibbel, of Forest Lake, Minn. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other loved ones also survive.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, grandparents and Aunt Diana.
A memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 20, at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.
Family burial will take place at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, south of Mandan.
