Gene D. Melgaard, 73, of Minot, formerly of Noonan, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, on his farm south of Noonan, in a farming accident.
Gene is survived by: his wife, Susan; and their two children, Kenneth (Tab) Melgaard, of Minot, and Katie (Thomas) Melgaard, of Minneapolis. Gene is also survived by brothers/sisters, Murril (Maxine), of Crosby, Clarence (Marilyn), of Minot, Carl (Shirley), of Dunseith, and Irene Nelson, of Columbus.
Funeral: Monday, July 16, 2012, 1 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Visitation: Monday, from 11 a.m. to service time, at the funeral home.
Burial: A private burial will be held at a later time.
