Crews have been working on clearing items from inside the flooded Erik Ramstad Middle School for weeks, and now demolition work on the exterior of the school has begun.
Crews operating heavy machinery were working early Tuesday morning on the school's southwest corner, near the new gymnasium that was completed just months before last year's devastating Souris River flood.
The flooded Lincoln Elementary School was demolished last week.
