Jeanne Bolte Kistner, 47, of Duluth, Minn., formerly of Minot, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Duluth.
Jeanne Allison was born Oct. 25, 1964, in Fargo, to Edward and Mavis (Kiser) Bolte. The family moved to Minot when she was 2 years of age. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
Jeanne attended Minot Public School, graduated from Minot High School and then attended Minot State University, NDSU and Moorhead, Minn., University. She loved to read and was an avid animal lover. Her friends were very special to her, but she mostly loved her children. She married Colin Kistner in Fargo.
Survivors: husband and son, Azriel, Duluth; daughter, Jaimee Bolte, Minneapolis; father, Edward and wife, Nancy, Minot; mother, Mavis Bolte, Minot; sister, Jodi (Loren) Nelson and their sons, Michael and Eric, all Devils Lake; half brothers, Kenneth (Kyla) Bolte and Matthew Bolte, all Minot; and her faithful and loving dog, Reilly.
She was preceded in death by her half brother, Charles; her grandparents; and three "special furry" friends.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held Sunday, July 8, in Duluth.
