Ida Weflen, 98, of Stanley, died Friday, June 29, 2012, in a Stanley nursing home.
Ida was born Dec. 8, 1913, in Crane Creek Township, to Knute and Bertha Weflen. The family later moved to Stanley where she attended grade school and high school. Ida graduated from the Kayler School of Nursing in Rochester, Minn., and worked as a registered nurse in California, Washington and North Dakota.
She belonged to the American Lutheran Church in Stanley and the American Nurses Association.
Ida was once married to John Duhe.
She is survived by her nieces and nephew, Gayle (Marc) Melberg, Karen Pachal and Gary (Cathy) Pachal and their families.
Ida's parents and her sisters Clara, Mildred and Ella preceded her in death.
Her funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at American Lutheran Church, Stanley.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Stanley.
