Kathryn Ihli, 63, Minot, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Kathryn Rae Moe was born July 20, 1948, the daughter of Herbert L. and Pearl H.C. (Hanson) Moe, in Rolla. She was raised and educated in Rolla, Williston, and Velva.
Kathryn married Frank M. Ihli on Nov. 20, 1965, in Velva. They made their home in various cities in North Dakota, and Newton, Kan. She worked for private individuals doing home health care.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed music, playing games, shopping and reading. She was the bright spot of her family and will be missed greatly every day.
Surviving family includes: husband of 46 years, Frank, Minot; daughter, Carolyn (David) Freuer, Minot; son, Michael "Skippy" Ihli and his fiancee, Linda Kunkel, Granville; grandchildren, Anthony (Kim Weismann) Freed, Joe Ihli, Cody Eberle, Paul Ihli; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Paul Ihli; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marcus and Teresa Ihli.
Private family funeral: Monday, July 9, 2012, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
