John Melton, Minot
I would like to know the progress on the Railroad Quiet Zone that was proposed. I don't think the City of Minot is moving fast enough to get this done. The last I saw or heard about this proposal was in February 2011.
I would also like to know why other cities in North Dakota seem to be able to get left-turn protected traffic signals and Minot can't. I just don't understand why we don't have people in our city and county government who want to work very hard to get what the people need mainly for quality of life and more importantly, safety.
