Baseball is back at Jack Hoeven Park.
The venue, which hasn't held games since the Souris River Flood of 2011, will host a re-opening kickoff event at 6 tonight.
Attendees can watch a pair of Cal Ripken games (ages 9-12). Free cookies and balloons will be available.
The Minot Metros and Minot Vistas American Legion teams will play their home games at Hoeven Park for the foreseeable future, as repairs to Corbett Field are taking longer than expected.
The Vistas' first home game is scheduled for Monday (an opponent is still being decided on) and the Metros host Williston on July 3.
