The Minot Vistas were swept by Moorhead (Minn.) in a Friday doubleheader.
The Vistas' downfall was the big inning. Moorhead broke each game open in the sixth inning. Minot (7-10) surrendered a three-run sixth in game one that stretched Moorhead's lead from 3-2 to 6-2. Moorhead won by that same score.
In game two, Moorhead scored five times in the sixth frame to take a 10-5 advantage en route to a 10-6 win.
"We're just not at the point yet of being able to finish games," Vistas coach Todd Larson said. "Hopefully we'll be able to get to that point as the calendar turns to July."
Micah Holmen went 3-for-4 on the day for the Vistas, scoring four runs.
