Jim and Sharon Kapfer, Minot, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Sunday, June 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Grand International Inn, Minot. Their children, Kathey Llewellyn, of Fargo, and Steve Kapfer, of Minot, and their families will host the event.
Jim Kapfer and Sharon Weigel were married June 4, 1962, in Harvey. He was an artist, starting employment with Pietsch Signs, and later operated JK Signs. She was employed at Minot Area Vocational Workshop. They have six grandchildren.
