Sherene Shannon and Christopher Mills, both Sawyer, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Her parents are Lynn and Janell Shannon, of Bottineau. His parents are Dennis and Elaine Mills, Martinsville, Ind., and Woodie and Lori Terrell, of Martinsville.
Sherene is studying mathematics at Minot State University. She is employed at Ben's Tavern in Minot and has her own photography business, Sherene's Photography in Sawyer. Christopher is serving in the Air Force.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 30, at 3 p.m. in Bottineau. Invitations are required for the ceremony and dinner, but not for the reception at 8 p.m. and dance to follow in the Bottineau Armory.
