Katie Culbertson and Doug Anderson, West Point, Neb., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Her parents are Cindy Culbertson, of Fremont, Neb., and Jack Culbertson, of Laurens, Iowa. His parents are Cathie Anderson, Oakland, Neb., and the late Jerry Anderson.
Katie graduated from Velva High School in 2001 and is a nursing student at Northeast Community College, Norfolk, Neb. She is employed with American Red Cross Biomedical Services, Omaha, Neb., as a blood drive team supervisor.
Doug graduated from Oakland-Craig High School in Oakland in 2005 and from Northeast Community College-Norfolk in 2007 with a broadcasting degree. He is employed at KTIC Radio, West Point, Neb., as an on-air personality.
They will be married Saturday, June 30, at 3 p.m. in Salem Covenant Church in Oakland. A reception will follow at the Nielsen Community Center in West Point.
