I recently read an article by Ned Ryun, that included these words, "as we watch our economy weaken, our government expand, our businesses struggle, our taxes shoot higher, and our cultural values become unrecognizable. IT'S TIME TO FIGHT for the survival of Americanism." This statement helps define why I am voting for Brian Kalk for U.S. House on June 12. Kalk brings proven leadership skills to the position gained while serving his country in the military and while others argue and succumb to gridlock, Kalk will have none of it. With congressional approval ratings around 10 percent, I hope the days of electing career politicians, who are bought and paid for before even getting into office, are drawing to an end. Several companies are advertising their new initiatives to hire veterans who bring valuable skills earned through their time in the military. With 20 years of military service to his country, let's see what Brian Kalk can do in congress for our state and our country. Don't miss your chance to vote on June 12 as veterans, like Kalk, fought and continue to fight for our freedoms and our right to cast a ballot on Election Day.
