WOMEN'S SOCIETY TO SERVE ANNUAL DINNER ON MEMORIAL DAY The Women's Society of Hope Congregational Church, Granville, will serve its annual Memorial Day dinner Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the church.
Chicken and noodles, along with mashed potatoes, Texas beans and coleslaw, will be served. Dessert will be angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream.
The cost will be $8 for adults and $4 for children under age 12. There will be no charge for preschoolers.
FINAL SERVICE TO BE HELD AT FAITH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH SITE The final service at Faith United Methodist Church, 801 University Ave. W., will be held outdoors on June 3 at 11 a.m. A mortgage burning ceremony will also take place. People are asked to bring their own chair.
Lunch will be served after the service at Vincent United Methodist Church, 1024-2nd St. SE.
Summer services will continue to be held at Vincent United Methodist Church with coffee fellowship at 10:30 a.m. and a worship service at 11 a.m. Adult Sunday school will be at 9:30 a.m. There will be no youth Sunday school during the summer months.

DATES ANNOUNCED FOR VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Vacation Bible school will be held at Vincent United Methodist Church, 1024-2nd St. SE, June 12-14. A light supper will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. and vacation Bible school will follow until 8:30 p.m.
BENEFIT BREAKFAST TO BE HELD IN MINOT CHURCH A benefit pancake breakfast for Addyson Flory, of Bismarck, will be held June 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Southside Church of the Nazarene, 2220-24th Ave. SE.
Proceeds of the benefit will be used to defray medical expenses incurred in the treatment of a rare congenital heart defect that Addyson, 4 1/2, was born with. She will have open heart surgery in June at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
A benefit account has also been set up at Town and Country Credit Union, Minot, for people who wish to donate. Checks should be made payable to Addyson Flory Medical Benefit.
