WILLISTON Wallace Stokes, 81, Williston, died Monday, May 21, 2012, in a Minot hospital.
He was born June 11, 1930, to Harold and Beatrice Stokes, in New Rockford. He served in the Navy from 1950 to 1954. He married Margaret Klemer on July 2, 1961, in Larimore.
Survivors: wife; daughters, Mary Paulsrud, of Ashley, and Julie Stokes, Apple Valley, Minn.; one grandson; sister, Karen Knatterud, St. Louis, Mo.
