NEW ROCKFORD - Rachel McNett, 94, New Rockford, died Friday, May 11, 2012, in a New Rockford nursing home.
She was born Aug. 16, 1917, to John and Harriet Birkeland, near Warwick. She married Ervin McNett on Aug. 27, 1943, at Warwick.
Survivors: sons, Barry, New Rockford, and Brad, Maysville, Wash.; daughters, Camellia Embacher and Tracy Smith, Maysville; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Baker and Joan Bergevin, both Bothell, Wash.
Funeral: Thursday, 10:30 a.m., First Lutheran Church, New Rockford.
Burial: Thursday, 1:15 p.m., Warwick Cemetery, Warwick.
Visitation: Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.
