A musical Minot duo is scheduled to receive some national television exposure. Dean and Kathy Clott comprise the US Band, billed as a two-piece variety act that features oldies, rock, country, rhythm and blues along with guitar and fiddle and keyboards. Dean was the founding member of the 17-year show band Dean & the Badlands Express Revue.
The US band auditioned and was accepted for a featured segment on the "Shotgun Red Variety Show" that airs on RFD TV. The first of four airings is scheduled for today at 6 p.m. The performance was recorded on the General Jackson Showboat in Nashville this past January. On the show they do a novelty fiddle act with fire eating.
