Robin C. Godejohn. 24, Des Lacs, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, in his home.

Robin Craig Godejohn was born on Aug. 28, 1987, a son of Tracy and Rita (Lipp) Godejohn in Minot. He attended school in Hazen, moving with his family to Minot in 2000, where Robin graduated from Des Lacs-Burlington High School in 2006.

Following graduation, Robin worked for the North Dakota National Guard at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, for the City of Minot in the parks and recreation department, Pumpco Energy Services, and the City of Minot sanitation department. Most recently he was employed with Flint Energy Services.

Robin enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, spending time in the outdoors fishing, hiking and camping. He was very creative and artistic. Robin spent most of his time with his family, at home and at work. He had two pet cats, Sylvia and Darwin, that he also enjoyed having in his life.

In his short time with us, Robin made many friends and touched many lives. He was a role model to his friends and siblings. Family was very important to him. Although he left this world all too soon, his infectious smile and personality will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his parents, Tracy and Rita, Minot; sister, Kayla and her boyfriend, Brody Wolff, sister Abby Godejohn, and brother, Michael Godejohn, all of Minot; maternal grandparents, Steve and Lavinia Lipp, Minot; aunts, Patty (Ted) Kaler, Minot; Ann (Troy) Degenstien, Minot; Uncles, Craig Lipp, Surrey; cousins: BettyGene (Chris) Falcon, Jen Kaler, Heather (Justin) Andre, Seth Frye, Josh Frye, Shelby Lipp, Grace Lipp and Evan Youngs. Several great aunts, uncles, extended cousins and many, many friends also survive.

Robin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bettey and Delbert Fugere, Gene Godejohn and his uncle, Robin Godejohn.

Visitation: Today, Monday, April 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, and from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church.

Vigil Prayer Service: Today, Monday, at 7 p.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot

Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Minot

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
