N.D. budget is done right

I'm glad our state government isn't looking to get any bigger. We have to support a lot of needs right now between flood repair, the oil boom, and a growing population. Within all of that is uncertainty as to how and when things will balance out. Because of that, it's pretty smart for the state to be using its reserve funds to provide support. Gov. Jack Dalrymple's budget guidelines that call for state agencies to look for efficiencies and be careful not to just grow government because we can are smart. Growing government isn't the way to go. Maybe if the federal government acted like we do here in North Dakota, our nation wouldn't now be selling its debt to China.
