BISMARCK (AP) - A 25-year-old Mandan man was arrested for attempting to bring a loaded handgun through security at the Bismarck Airport.
Police Sgt. Mark Buschena tells the Bismarck Tribune that airport security officers saw the outline of a handgun in the man's carry-on bag with X-ray.
Police say the man had two magazines with him and both were loaded. One of the magazines was in the .45-caliber pistol.
Police arrested the man for a misdemeanor concealed weapons violation. He was taken to the police department where he was processed and released.
The man had been scheduled to board a United Airlines flight to Denver.
