BISMARCK The North Dakota Energy Infrastructure and Impact Office is accepting grant applications from oil and gas development impacted cities, airport authorities, park districts, water resource districts and other organized political subdivisions until April 30.
The grant round will focus on community infrastructure projects that are designed and ready to implement.
Eligible projects could include water treatment and waste water facilities, trunk lines, park and airport district projects including upgrades to existing infrastructure intended to support population growth resulting from direct impact from oil and gas development.
The advisory committee will recommend funding one-time projects related to buildings or improving physical assets. A lower priority will be placed upon applications seeking funding of additional personnel and projects resulting from secondary impacts of oil and gas development.
The application form and lists of required supporting documentation are available on the North Dakota Energy Impact Grant website at (www.nd.gov/energyimpact/).
Completed applications and supporting materials can be mailed to the Energy Infrastructure and Impact Office at the Department of Trust Lands, P.O. Box 5523, Bismarck 58506 or email to energyimpact@nd.gov.
