Bruce Wayne Olson, 66, of Minot and Hettinger, died Friday, April 13, 2012, at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m. MDT at the Hettinger Lutheran Church. Rev. Kathleen Dettmann will officiate.
Burial will be at the Richland Cemetery, north of Hettinger.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 1 to 7 p.m. MDT, at the Centennial Chapel in Hettinger.
Bruce was born July 10, 1945, the son of Myrtle and Clifford Olson. Bruce enjoyed all outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing. He also was a collector of antiques and guns. He loved spending time with his friends and family, playing poker and riding motorcycles. He spent most of his life on his family's farm, farming and ranching. He had a passion for horses, especially his Mustang, Captain.
Bruce is survived by his son, Justin (Amanda) and his grandchildren, Sawyer and Taylor, of Minot.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
