DICKINSON (AP) - A man accused in the shooting of his construction company co-worker in Dickinson has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
Twenty-three-year-old Michael Pope is accused of shooting 22-year-old Darren Obrigewitch as many as five times outside a mobile home after an alcohol-fueled fight on Dec. 16. Defense attorney Ashley Holmes says Pope shot Obrigewitch out of fear and had no intent to kill him.
A trial date was not immediately set.
