Sasha Golus, Bismarck State's 5-foot-10 freshman forward from Belcourt, was awarded the Mon-Dak player of the week award after scoring 22 points and grabbing eight rebounds in the Mystics' only game last week.
Williston State sophomore forward Derek Detrick was given the men's award. During a three-game stretch, the 6-7 Phoenix native averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
