MINOT CHURCH TO HOST CHRISTMAS CAROL EVENT North Hill Baptist Church, 524-21st Ave. NW, will host a community Christmas carol singalong and a presentation of the Christmas story today from 1 to 4 p.m.
Refreshments will be served.
LIVE NATIVITY SCENE TO BE PRESENTED A live Nativity scene will be presented Dec. 17-18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at West Minot Church of God, 1105-16th St. NW.
Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate will be served.
SURREY CHURCH TO HOLD BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICE A Blue Christmas service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Hope Lutheran Church, Surrey.
The service will offer a time of reflection and remembrance, plus a time of quiet in the midst of the busy activity of the season for people who have lost a loved one.

ANNUAL REMEMBRANCE SERVICE SET FOR SUNDAY IN MINOT CHURCH The annual Christ Lutheran Church Holiday Remembrance Service, a time set aside to remember our losses of the past year, will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, 215-3rd Ave. SE.
The service will be led by Christ Lutheran's pastors, the Rev. David Maxfield and the Rev. Michael Johnson, and by members of the church's Stephen Ministry team.
"It's a quiet interlude to call to mind those who have touched our lives and whose absence make Christmas a tender time, as well as to remember the many losses our community has experienced." Maxfield said.
Music, prayers, Scripture and the lighting of candles will highlight the service. The service is open to everyone.
CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S CLUB TO MEET TUESDAY ?Minot Christian Women's Club will meet Tuesday from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Grand International Inn, Minot. The cost is $10 inclusive.
The theme of the meeting is "Making Spirits Bright!" Ripping Yarns will display different types and uses of yarns and Barb Rued, of Minot, will share how she came to know the real meaning of Christmas with her talk, "Misconceptions."

PRIMETIMERS TO MEET THURSDAY ?The PrimeTimers Fellowship group from Our Redeemer's Church in Minot will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 700-16th Ave. SE.
The choir from Our Redeemer's High School, under the direction of Lynette Tonneson, will present the program.
There will be potluck refreshments.
DATE SET FOR SPECIAL CHRISTMAS SERVICE A special Christmas service will be held Dec. 18 in Immanuel Baptist Church, 1615-2nd St. SE.
The 10:30 a.m. service will include the Children's Christmas Program, a presentation by the youth, and the musical "Mary. Did You Know?," by Russell Mauldin, sung by the Sanctuary Choir.
MEMBERS OF CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH TO GO CAROLING Parishioners from Christ Lutheran Church in Minot will go caroling in the Christ Lutheran neighborhood, Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m.
Small groups will carol from 2 to 3 p.m. with emphasis on visiting neighbors living in FEMA trailers.
Hot beverages and treats will be served at the church from 3 to 4 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to join the carolers or the fellowship time that follows.
Those participating are asked to bring a dozen gift-wrapped treats to be given away to those in FEMA trailers and another dozen to share after caroling.
People who are unable to attend who would like to bake for the occasion are asked to drop their treats at Christ Lutheran at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
